Somebody stop me!
If you ain't heard this on yet, allow me to expound for the boys in the back.
SMW is not leaving NYC. Repeat: the egoriffic Mr. Sean Michael will not be vacating Nuevo Yorka for a far sunnier Frisco.
And why? Why, why why? Because the elastic Mr. Goodbottom has found a reason to stay. And it comes in the form of the formation of a theatre company of his very own. You heard it here first. Sean's goin' legit!
The not-yet-but-soon-to-be named company will do nothing less than try to deliver its promise to reconstruct the world of indy theatre. And the premiere of such a pact will be an experiment in happenstance. We have been offered a chance to perform our first ever production in... the very bookstore that I work in. Isn't that just weird? Huh? Weird, huh? Yeah, that's what I thought.
The deal is not set, but after confering with two of the three brothers in faith, it looks like a go. I will send out invites when more is learned, but it will be in October, and all are welcome.
The karma wheel turns round and round. Next week, I get hit by a bus that didn't see the red light. La la la.
